The reopening ceremony of the "Health Care Course" co-organized by Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) and Escola Luso-Chinesa Tecnico-Profissional (ELCTP) took place at the Lecture Theatre of KWNC on 1 September this year. About 80 participants were present at the ceremony including KWNC President, ELCTP Principal, Form 4 to 6 students of ELCTP as well as staff of both institutions. 

KWNC Vice-President Xing Zhihong expressed in her speech that this year is the third year to run the "Health Care Course" and the number of students admitted is the highest. On the other hand, the first cohort of students are graduating this year and they are getting ready for clinical practice where they can apply their knowledge and gain experience in real life situations.

ELCTP Principal Mr. Chan Ieng Lon believed that the first batch of graduates will mark a milestone for vocational education in Macao. He encouraged the graduating students to seize the clinical practice opportunity to learn and gain experience despite any difficulties. He also expressed gratitude to KWNC for its generous support and contributions to the students as well as to the diversified development of non-tertiary education in Macao.

Honourable guests at the reopening ceremony included Principal of ELCTP Chan Ieng Lon, Vice-Principal Pun Vai Nim, Programme Coordinator Cheong Guterres Lai Wan, Class Teachers Wong Im Ieng, Wong Suet Yan, Fan Wai Leng, KWNC President Van Iat Kio, Vice-President Xing Zhihong, Executive Officer of Education Department Tsang Sau Mui Alice, Deputy Executive Officer of Extramural Studies Department Lei Wai In and KWNC clinical instructors and teachers.
