Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) had the 2nd Board of Directors Meeting for this academic year at the Mong Ha Campus in the morning of 7 March, 2017. Chaired by Chair of Board of Directors Lau Veng Seng, a total of 13 Board Members were present at the meeting. Members of College Administrative Committee also took part in the meeting.

KWNC President and Board Member Van Iat Kio reported in the meeting the regional collaboration, student admission, Statutes revision, establishment of new campus as well as finance issues of the College. Proposed revisions on the Statutes and finance matters were deliberated and approved in the meeting.

In response to the enforcement of the "Legal Regime of Medical Error", President Van reported the College's relevant response measures. They include the enhancement of teachers' responsibility on professional accountability, the nurture of students regarding professional accountability, intensification of communication with clinical placement institutions, mandatory purchase of "Occupational Civil Liability Insurance" as well as internal and external promotion of relevant aspects.

After the meeting, Board Members were guided around the Mong Ha Campus, where different facilities including lecture rooms, laboratories and Nursing & Health Education Research Centre were visited.
