The third session of the "Lecture on Chinese Culture" organized by Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) took place at its multifunction room in the main campus on 27 October, 2017. Six staff shared the cultures of different Chinese regions including Northeast, Bashu, Hakka, Taiwan and Lingnan.
During the one-hour lecture, rich and resourceful information regarding the regions was shared. Vice-President Xing Zhihong talked about the Northeast folk culture as well as the climate and food culture differences between the Northeast and the South. Professor Zhu Mingxia and Lecturer Li Xiang shared the history regarding the contributions made by former talents in Bashu region and its modernization progress. Project Coordinator Wu Jianwei introduced the cohesive, ambitious and friendly traditions of the Hakka people. Assistant Professor Chuang Yao Chen shared the evolution of the Taiwan's culture as well as its famous night markets and recreations. The culture of Lingnan, covered by Librarian Wong Iok U, talked about the passions of Lingnan people to foods and arts. All participants were so attracted to the contents and some students recalled their love and memories about studying different Chinese cultures; some even could not wait to travel to the places.
