KWNC holds 2017/2018 Board of Directors and Advisory Committee Meeting
Board Member and College President Van Iat Kio reporting the year's works to the attendants
The "2017/2018 Board of Directors and Advisory Committee Meeting" took place at the Main Campus' multifunction room of Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau in the afternoon of 23 November, where more than 20 representatives from the Board of Directors of the College, Advisory Committee, College as well as student representatives were present. The meeting emphasized on discussing talent development, academic standard betterment, programme quality assurance and relevant topics.
Board member and College President Van Iat Kio mentioned in her report that, College has always been emphasizing staff's development by fully supporting them for continuing studies. In the future, further effort will be put on developing scientific research as well as facilitating research collaborations between College and other overseas institutions. In addition, College is also very concerned about students' autonomous learning and academic integrity, therefore will continue to provide more online learning resources for students. The integration of teaching, research and social services, on the other hand, will continue to be the main development focus of the College. After President's report, attendants of the meeting continued on discussions regarding strategies in enhancing College's academic standard, which has attracted a number of teaching staff to engage.
The host of the meeting was the Chair of Board of Directors of the College Lau Veng Seng and attendants of the meeting included: Vice-Chair Vong Kok Seng, Ung Hon Chao, Ung Pui Kun, Ho King Lun Kevin, Sio Chi Wai and António José de Freitas, Board Members Chan Kam Meng and Lam In Nie, Advisory Committee Members Leong Heng Teng, Sou Chio Fai, Professor Zhou Li Gao, Professor Wang Ting Huai, Leong Iok Wa, Fan Wong Iao Ha, Dr. Tong Chi Kin, Ho Sio Kam, Lo Siu Ha, Dr. Lo Chio Kam, Fok Wai Lan, Dr. Hu Xiao Xia and student representative Wong Cheng Nga.
