KWNC Faculty Members Attended the “16th Annual Conference of International Society for Quality of Life Studies” for Exchanging Recent Research Trend on Quality of Life

Professor Zhu Mingxia, Assistant Professor Ng Wai I, Assistant Professor Chung Siu Fung and Lecturer Tam Hon Lon of Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) attended the "16th Annual Conference of International Society for Quality of Life Studies" (ISQOLS) which was jointly organized by the Hong Kong Polytechnic University and International Association for Quality of Life Studies on 14 June to 16 June and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges centred around the theme of "Quality of Life of Macau Residents in Different Life Conditions in Recent Two Decades" with experts and scholars during the parallel session undertaken by the College.

The theme of the conference was "Promotion of Quality of Life in the Changing World". With emerging global challenges such as mental health issues, ageing population, global warming, pollution and inequalities, this conference has constituted a platform for researchers and practitioners in different fields to make presentations on academic and practical research findings on quality of life, well-being, and happiness, with particular reference to how such work can promote quality of life in the changing world. KWNC was one of the co-organizers of the 16th ISQOLS Annual Conference.
