Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) organised a visit to Mao Zedong Photograph Exhibition for about 110 students and teachers on the 6th September 2019. This photo exhibition of “Chairman Mao, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China and the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Macau Special Administrative Region” was organised by Macau S.A.R. Government, Liaison Office of the Central People's Government in the Macau S.A.R., China Institute of CPC Literature Research, and CPC Hunan Provincial Committee. The visit aimed to deepen teachers and students’ comprehension on key contents of their own country’s history and culture, and carry forward Macau people's great spirit of loving the motherland and loving Macau.

A teacher who visited the exhibition expressed that when New China was founded, it was faced with many hardships, yet Chairman Mao had a spirit of fearlessness, he had faced these adversities bravely and strived forward with concerted efforts, the teacher was particularly touched by these, moreover these encouraged her to actively cope with current challenges. Some students saw Chairman Mao's clothes covered with patches, which were wore by himself for 20 years, and their respect for Chairman Mao came naturally, as people's achievements did not lie in their appearance, but in their depth and attitude. In today's abundant material society, students need special reflections.
