More than 200 leaders, nursing cadre, teachers, students of medical and health organisations and medical institutes in Beijing, Macau and Zhuhai, and experts of nursing academic journals discussed the opportunities created by the development of nursing research and journals, strengthened the academic exchanges between experts of Chinese Journal of Integrative Nursing and Macau Journal of Nursing and promoted the innovative achievements of nursing academics.

Deputy Party Secretary & Zhuhai People’s Hospital Deputy Superintendent Cui Min, Dongfang Hospital Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Nursing Department Director Tang Ling, Integrative Nursing Press Director Ye Zhenhua, Kiang Wu Hospital Sub Director Xie Xue Bin, KWNC President Van Iat Kio, and other guests marked the opening of the forum. Xie Xue Bin and Head of KWNC Publication Centre Associate Professor Leong Sok Man, Macau Journal of Nursing Editing Department Executive Officer Assistant Professor Mao Aimei as Macao representatives delivered thematic speeches, had experience sharing and exchanged on scientific research, academic publications and clinical case nursing experiences in the three places with five other nursing experts from Beijing and Zhuhai.

Two collaboration agreements were also signed and an expert mutual appointment ceremony was held at the meeting, including the collaboration agreement between Chinese Journal of Integrative Nursing and Macau Journal of Nursing, a four-party collaboration agreement signed between Hengqin Aoruizhen Senior Service Co., Ltd., and Zhuhai Jinwan District Tuofu Senior Comprehensive Ability Assessment Centre, KWNC, Macau Alzheimer’s Disease Association, and the mutual appointment of experts from Zhuhai People’s Hospital, Zhuhai Nursing Association and KWNC.

Cui Min, Ye Zhenhua, and Van Iat Kio delivered speeches, in which they affirmed the significance of the forum and the signing of the collaboration agreements. It provided a very valuable exchange platform for the three places, especially for the promotion of the collaboration of academic journals featuring traditional Chinese medicine nursing – the Chinese Journal of Integrative Nursing organised by the Beijing Office of Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Competence Improvement Project and Macau Journal of Nursing arranged by KWNC, which is the only academic journal of nursing in the Macao Special Administrative Region. These would facilitate the exchange of information and the mobility of talents between the three places, at the same time, implementing the sharing of local high-quality senior service resources between Macao and Zhuhai, and these would promote the rapid development of senior care services in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
