In order to respond to the Macao Special Administrative Region Government’s dementia prevention and treatment work, and promote the development of a dementia-friendly community, Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) was invited by the Public Security Police Force to jointly organise ‘Dementia Thematic Training for Police Officer Session’ with the Macau Alzheimer’s Disease Association (MADA) from 5^th to 14^th July 2021. The sessions were held in the Pac On Immigration Department Building Auditorium. Eight sessions were held with nearly 700 police officers attended the training. For three years, a total of approximately more than 2000 police officers completed the training for skills in handling patients with dementia.
