Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) as the organiser, and Zhuhai People's Hospital Medical Group, Beijing Cancer Prevention & Treatment Society Life and Death Studies and Education Professional Committee, and Zhuhai Da Heng Qin Development Company Limited as co-organisers, hosted the ‘6^th China Contemporary Life and Death Studies Conference’ and the ‘3^rd China Contemporary Life and Death Education Teacher Training Course’ from 10^th – 12^th December 2021 at Macao and Hengqin online and on site, with the support of Beijing Gong Ming Education Consulting Workshop. The theme was ‘Life and Death, Caring and Loving’. KWNC hoped to utilise this event to gather people from all walks of life, strive to break the Chinese taboo of death, popularise life and death education, and to deepen contemporary Chinese research on life and death issues. The number of people registered for the event was approximately 180. In order to expand promotion, free of charge online meeting live broadcast was offered, and the number of viewers were about 6,000.
