Botanic Garden

There is a sky garden on the third floor of the campus, with an area of 707 square meters. In the garden, there are larger/taller trees such as Podocarpus Macrophyllus (small leaves), Sinobambusa tootsik, Silvery Messerschmidia, and smaller ones such as Spathiphyllum lanceifolium and Nephrolepis exaltata.

The College has always intended to create a traditional Chinese medicine garden on campus, therefore not only can the garden have teaching functions, yet also appreciation value. There are wooden benches in the garden. While admiring the green plants, students can learn about various Chinese herbal medicines with therapeutic value, which can promote Chinese medicine culture.

Based on the actual situation of the garden, the College plans to plant some Chinese herbal medicines that are easy to grow, straight forward to take care of, which are also heat and drought tolerant, without affecting the original larger plants. Consequently, the sky garden is named the Botanic Garden.

The Botanic Garden is currently under construction and is planned to be completed in June 2023.
