Director Ma mentioned that various concerns are needed for today’s health care development. To comply with the social development, health care industry not only provides treatments but also promotes the general health of residents. He believes that current medical system should make changes according to the social environment by taking references from overseas experiences including the community-based medical model, elderly care and unified medical system such as family medicine, elderly village, etc. In addition, Director Ma encouraged graduating students to actively face the changes and challenges of their roles as health care professionals. He also reminded that it is important to pay attention to community nursing, place patients’ safety as priority, build team spirits, communication skills, care, and lifelong learning attitude as well as to maintain a well-balanced work and leisure life.
