Nurses are professionals who provide frontline health care services and play a significant role in the medical team. Students’ recognition of their nursing identity is the key component for developing their nursing career and professionalism. To this, President Van Iat Kio gave a speech on relevant topic for all academic staff and students. It is now a critical stage for the development of nursing manpower and education as the nurse registration system and higher education regulations of Macao are being legislated. President Van also cited research results to inspire students to seek and build up their professional identity so as to facilitate their learning.
