Brief information:

This study looks into the situation of ageing population as well as its challenges to health care resources both locally and internationally. Questionnaires are used to examine the local demand for nursing resources, while interviews are conducted with the local nursing institutes and legal advisors. The study outlines the trend of Macao's ageing population, explores in that context the direction for developing Macao’s nursing services, and gives policy suggestions.

Methodology:

Mainly literature review; some data or information that could not be retrieved from literature were collected by way of survey or interviews
