Brief information:

Under the guidance of nursing teachers and clinical nurses, students designed and invented a safety sharps discard aid device which prevents clinical nurses from syringe injuries. In the designing process, knowledge of basic nursing, occupational safety and infection control was applied to enhance the students' awareness of occupational safety; meanwhile they were encouraged to think critically, discover and solve problems based on evidence.
