Congratulations to Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau (KWNC) Student Tong Yuxuan for Winning the 2^nd Place in ‘The 2^nd Macao Universities Diplomatic Speech Contest’.

Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) Government and Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China in the Macao SAR as the main organisers and Education and Youth Development Bureau as the co-organiser hosted ‘The 2^nd Macao Universities Diplomatic Speech Contest’ at the University of Macau University Hall on 30^th April in the afternoon. Eight contestants expressed their perspectives on the topic of ‘To Build a Community with a Shared Future for Mankind’. After an intense competition, KWNC student Tong Yuxuan won the Second Place. Office of the Commissioner of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Macao SAR Commissioner Liu Xianfa and Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Ao Ieong U attended the event and served as guests for award conferment.

The purposes of this competition are to popularise and promote diplomatic theoretical knowledge to Macao higher education institutes, to enhance students' understanding of special diplomacy of China as a large country and the knowledge of Macao-related diplomacy, and to improve the awareness and responsibility of teenagers.
