The Macau Academic Library Alliance (MALA) was formed in May of 2013. The main aims of the Alliance are to achieve mutual cooperation, share resources and build up an effective communication platform. The Alliance includes the libraries of the following nine higher education institutions:

2. Macau University of Science and Technology

3. Macao Polytechnic University 

4. Macao Institute for Tourism Studies

5. Kiang Wu Nursing College of Macau

6. City University of Macau

7. University of Saint Joseph

8. Macau Institute of Management

9. Academy of Public Security Forces
