Borrowing
Bring your library card/student card to the circulation counters or self-check-in/check-out machines during library opening hours.
Borrowing Rule
Quotas and loan periods are as follows:
* Including the MALA institutional card.
Items not for loan
Periodicals and journals, dictionaries, theses, encyclopaedias, statistical data, newspapers as well as most of the multimedia materials are not available for loan.
Multimedia collection
Most of the multimedia collection may only be used in the Library (except for teaching purposes); however, discs that go with books, as well as some of the films and English learning multimedia materials can be borrowed.
Return
Return your loan to the circulation counter or using the self-service in&out desk during the opening hours of the Library.Reserve
1. You may request to hold a checked-out item at the circulation counter with your student card.
2. You can also hold it online by using our E-library System with your library account.
3. Once the item on hold has been returned, the holder will have two days to collect it within two days of email notifications.
4. Where the item is being held by more than one reader, notification will be issued thereto in order of their requests.
Renewals
Loans may be renewed at the circulation counter during the opening hours of the Library, or online by using E-library System, or calling at 82956280.
