Thesis Similarity Check Service
To assist faculty and students in enhancing the quality of academic papers, the Library now provides a Thesis Similarity Check Service. Details are as follows:
Chinese Thesis Similarity Check
- Detection System:
- This service utilizes CNKI’s "Academic Misconduct Literature Check System" (AMLC) to perform thesis similarity detection.
- Service Fee:
- MOP 150 per check.
Workflow:
- Submit Application: Students who wish to apply for a self-paid thesis similarity check should send an email to the Library. Please state "Thesis Similarity Check" in the subject line, and include your full name and student ID in the email body.
- Payment Confirmation: Upon receiving the application, the Library will inform the student on how to proceed with payment. After completing payment, please send both the payment screenshot and the thesis file to the Library.
- Report Issuance: Once the similarity check is complete, the Library will email the detection report back to the student.
Processing Time:
Reports will be issued within 5 working days upon receipt of the thesis, processed strictly in the order of submission. To ensure fairness and impartiality, no express or rush service is provided.
Important Notes:
- The degree thesis submitted for checking must be complete, including the cover page, table of contents, abstract, main text, acknowledgments, appendices (if any), references, etc., and must be submitted as a Word document. Students bear full responsibility if an incomplete submission affects the test results.
- Self-paid detection reports are for reference only; official results remain subject to the faculty/college's final check.
